Leads nursing operations and clinical quality for a long-term care community. Oversees resident care planning, regulatory compliance, nursing standards, employee relations, staff recruitment and retention, coaching, and patient satisfaction. The role requires an experienced nursing leader who can manage care teams, maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, support emergency response, and promote positive resident and employee relationships.

Coordinates nursing department staffing for a healthcare facility, creates master and daily schedules, maintains staffing records, aligns coverage with budgeted staffing ratios, and updates schedules as needed. Works with HR and Payroll to ensure accurate time records. The role requires organization, attention to detail, reliable transportation, and staffing-schedule knowledge. Texas CNA status is highlighted as required, while the qualifications section lists current CNA certification as preferred.

Assists with preparing and serving meals and snacks for patients and residents according to menus, diet orders, preferences, and food-safety procedures. Supports cooks with portioning, timing, quantity control, and meal service, and may wash dishes. Requires a high school diploma or GED, fluent English, reliable transportation, and preferably a food handler’s permit and experience in skilled nursing or long-term care food service.
