Oversee daily hotel engineering and facilities operations, including property maintenance, preventative maintenance, life safety inspections, emergency response, energy conservation, vendor contracts, budgeting, compliance, staff scheduling, training, and service request resolution. The Chief Engineer supervises engineering personnel, supports renovations and special projects, participates in safety programs, and ensures hotel equipment and facilities remain safe, functional, and compliant.

Responds to guest maintenance requests and performs preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs across hotel rooms, kitchens, laundry facilities, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical equipment, pools, and mechanical areas. Lead stewards and pot washers, operate dishwashing equipment, maintain storage areas, report equipment issues, prepare route sheets, and support efficient hotel operations.

Supervises front office operations while providing courteous guest service during check-in, stays, and checkout. Responsibilities include managing reservations, guest inquiries, packages, payments, room-rate verification, shift paperwork, front desk systems, promotions, emergency procedures, and team coordination. The role ensures hotel standards, confidentiality, cleanliness, productivity, and effective resolution of guest and employee concerns.

Prepares food according to standardized hotel recipes, supports all kitchen stations, maintains buffet and kitchen organization, and ensures food quality, sanitation, safety, and proper storage. Supports hotel HR operations across recruiting, onboarding, payroll data, benefits, leave, workers’ compensation, unemployment claims, compliance, training, employee engagement, and personnel records. Conducts prescreening interviews, facilitates orientation, maintains HR logs, assists employees and leadership, coordinates events and transportation programs, and supports special projects while ensuring company policies and HR procedures are followed.

Develop and execute hotel marketing campaigns, promotions, digital content, and social media initiatives that drive demand, revenue, and profitability. Manage the hotel's online presence, digital reputation, website content, community engagement, and promotional activities across Rooms, Food & Beverage, events, and private functions. Monitor market and competitor trends, coordinate with internal teams and external partners, and analyze campaign performance and ROI to improve commercial results.

Lead payroll operations, strategy, compliance, system administration, tax reporting, audits, garnishments, benefits support, and payroll-related projects. Manage a large payroll team and coordinate with business leaders, third-party providers, banking, tax, and garnishment vendors. Ensure accurate payroll processing, reporting, records management, internal controls, regulatory compliance, system access, and employee support across a dispersed hospitality organization.

Supervises, trains, assigns, and inspects stewarding staff while maintaining hotel cleanliness, sanitation, supply levels, equipment, storage areas, and service standards. Coordinates kitchen, restaurant, banquet, and guest requests; monitors attendance, inventories, pest control, and operating equipment par levels.
