Leads HI-LEX’s program management office and large-scale automotive product development and launch programs. Establishes PMO processes, tools, metrics, audits, and governance while coaching customer and plant program managers. Directs cross-functional teams through timelines, financial planning, change control, quality, tooling, and crisis management. Partners with OEM, tiered customers, manufacturing centers, and internal stakeholders to deliver strategic projects and improve program management performance.

Assists with automotive Quality Management System activities, including document control, PLEX administration, audit scheduling and execution, auditor competency tracking, corrective action follow-up, customer scorecard reporting, CSR management, and IMDS submissions. Supports compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001, performs shop-floor document and process audits, tracks quality metrics, and contributes to continuous improvement and standardization across manufacturing facilities.

Supports corporate HR across recruitment, onboarding, immigration documentation, HRIS administration, payroll, employee relations, reporting, training, engagement, and workplace safety. Processes weekly hourly payroll for the Hazel Park plant and backs up salary payroll. Maintains employee records, handles unemployment correspondence, coordinates surveys and events, supports facility administration, and assists with compliance, investigations, and safety audits.

Manage full-cycle accounts payable: process high volumes of vendor invoices and expense reports, match to POs/receiving, reconcile vendor statements, run weekly payments (ACH, wire, checks), assist month-end accruals/journal entries, resolve discrepancies, maintain vendor records, and support audits.

Support plant HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, payroll and attendance, employee relations and investigations, benefits administration, HRIS/ERP data maintenance, compliance with employment and safety laws, and backup to the HR Manager.

Entry-level machinist fabricates parts, fixtures and assemblies using mills and lathes, performs dimensional and material inspections, assembles prototypes, maintains test fixtures, works with engineering, and supports continuous improvement and 4S practices.

Lead end-to-end design and development of new mechanical systems and products, ensuring requirements, performance, and quality. Provide technical leadership, prototype management, testing/validation, DFMEA/DFM, customer and supplier interaction, root-cause analysis, and cross-functional support through production launch.

Design and develop mechanical products and systems to meet customer requirements. Perform feasibility analyses, testing and validation, prototype coordination, root cause analysis, DFM/DFMEA activities, and cross-functional support from concept through mass production and continuous improvement.

Assemble and test products on the production line following safety and quality standards. Perform component alignment, fastening, quality checks, rework, material handling, station rotation, and assist other operators while maintaining a clean work area.

Assemble door module and window regulator components at a single production station, performing prescribed fastening and alignment operations, quality checks, occasional rework, rotating through stations as needed, and maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Assist in managing the Quality department and oversee quality programs, plant-floor inspection, and SPC. Develop and implement corrective actions and improvement plans, recommend and provide training, maintain TS database as TS QMR, develop policies and procedures, plan resources and control QA budget, and prepare quality reports.

Lead a product engineering team to develop and validate mechanical products, manage customer and supplier interactions, drive VA/VE and warranty reduction, ensure on-time releases, support program launches, and promote continuous improvement and 5S practices.

Provide general IT support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues, assist end users, and escalate problems to higher-tier teams as needed.

Supervise molding floor associates to meet production, safety, quality, and 4S standards. Hold shift meetings, verify schedules and tool changeovers, perform machine adjustments, audit quality/PLEX monitors, train staff, troubleshoot issues, support continuous improvement (Kaizen), complete documentation, and communicate performance and problems to management.

Manage and resolve customer quality concerns, drive APQP and PPAP activities, implement IATF16949 standards, perform system audits, develop control plans, facilitate irreversible corrective actions, support launches, and liaise with suppliers and design engineering to achieve Six Sigma manufacturing levels.

Write and operate CMM programs using PC-DMIS, interpret blueprints with GD&T, create programs from CAD, manage CMM scheduling and lab, calibrate/troubleshoot Brown & Sharpe and Mitutoyo CMMs, analyze measurement data, prepare MSA reports, support IATF16949 compliance, and communicate results with engineering and quality teams.

Lead complex troubleshooting and repairs across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Perform preventive maintenance, dismantle and rebuild machines, install raceways and conduit, build panels, troubleshoot PLCs, fabricate fixtures, use machine tools, and support engineering projects while mentoring Maintenance I/II team members.

Inspect production parts, follow nonconformance and EOL inspection procedures, communicate defects to production, and assist quality engineer/manager with related duties.

Manage and resolve customer quality concerns, implement corrective actions, develop Advanced Quality Planning and PPAP documentation, perform IATF16949 audits, support QA and manufacturing, coordinate supplier reviews, and drive continuous improvement.
