Designs, prototypes, tests, and brings complex mechanical subsystems for autonomous drone dock products into production. Responsibilities include developing CAD assemblies, optimizing designs for manufacturability and assembly, selecting and integrating actuators, planning verification and validation tests, conducting root cause analyses, and collaborating on materials and manufacturing methods. The role also supports production scaling, field issue resolution, and potentially thermal management and product commercialization.

Summer 2027 internship involving a scoped engineering or operations project for drone-in-a-box systems. Interns may work on mechanical, electrical, firmware, software, systems integration, testing, manufacturing, flight operations, or business operations. Responsibilities include hands-on lab and field work, design reviews, testing, root cause analysis, documentation, and presenting project results. The role requires full-time, on-site availability in Miami for 10–12 weeks.

Develop and own embedded firmware for drone and dock platforms using bare-metal and RTOS environments. Bring up and validate new hardware, debug firmware-hardware interactions with bench instrumentation, interpret schematics and datasheets, create validation procedures, perform root-cause analysis, and support integration across software and electrical systems.

Own electrical subsystem development for drone and dock platforms, including architecture, schematic capture, multilayer PCB layout, RF design, firmware, bring-up, validation, and production support. The role requires C/C++ firmware development, simulation-based analysis, hardware testing, root cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.
