Own renewals and expansion for a portfolio of existing SMB and mid-market SaaS customers. Identify upsell opportunities, manage growth and retention forecasts, maintain pipeline hygiene, conduct commercial conversations, coordinate AE handoffs, and partner with Sales Engineering and Customer Engineering. As a founding member of Hex’s Account Management function, help create the team’s playbook and territory model.

Develop and evolve Hex’s visual brand across campaigns, product launches, web, events, social, editorial, and physical experiences. Create illustrations, imagery, graphic systems, and visual concepts that simplify complex technical products. Build reusable brand assets, collaborate with marketing and creative teams, art direct external partners, participate in critiques, and balance early experimentation with polished execution.

Build and lead Hex’s partner technical enablement function. Responsibilities include creating certification curricula, workshops, demos, sandbox environments, and technical collateral; onboarding and training consulting and SI partners; supporting strategic proof-of-value engagements and architecture reviews; handling technical objections; gathering product feedback; and tracking partner enablement metrics. The role requires strong SQL and Python skills, analytics workflow expertise, presentation ability, and approximately 25–30% travel.

Own Hex’s recruiting operations infrastructure, including the ATS, sourcing, scheduling, assessment tools, workflows, data quality, analytics, automation, and vendor management. Build dashboards and hiring forecasts, improve recruiting processes, implement AI thoughtfully, lead interviewer training and structured interviews, establish operating rhythms, and protect candidate experience. Partner with Finance, People Operations, Data, recruiters, and hiring managers to scale a high-growth hiring function.

Support Hex customers with technical questions and use-case development through chat, email, and Slack. Troubleshoot complex analytics workflows, create technical content such as documentation, demos, and videos, identify product pain points, and share customer feedback with Product. The role requires strong analytics expertise, customer empathy, communication skills, and experience with SQL, Python, Jupyter notebooks, BI tools, and contemporary data-stack workflows.

Lead and scale Hex’s Western Enterprise Account Executive team. Responsibilities include recruiting, onboarding, coaching, deal strategy, pipeline and forecast management, operating cadence, cross-functional collaboration, go-to-market development, executive relationship building, and improving sales performance across complex enterprise SaaS deals.

Build AI-powered features and scalable agent infrastructure for Hex’s data analytics platform. Partner with research and product engineering teams on context, model prompting, experimentation tooling, and platform integration. Lead major product initiatives, develop performant web experiences, maintain high standards for testing and correctness, and mentor engineers. The role involves full-stack development across React, TypeScript, GraphQL, backend services, cloud infrastructure, and data systems.

Lead the AI Engineering function by advancing frontier AI capabilities, defining team strategy, hiring and mentoring AI engineers, supporting AI developer and research experiences, and delivering shared infrastructure such as search systems. The role collaborates closely with product and engineering teams and requires expertise in LLMs, transformer models, agentic workflows, context management, and AI evaluation.

Own Hex’s paid marketing strategy and execution across Google, LinkedIn, Meta, and emerging channels. Manage large paid budgets, optimize acquisition and pipeline performance, build automated marketing systems, and run experiments across audiences, creative, landing pages, and bidding. Partner with Growth Product, Lifecycle, Web, Brand Design, and Demand Gen to connect paid acquisition to PLG activation, pipeline, and revenue. Leads Hex’s East Coast Commercial Sales Engineering team supporting SMB and mid-market customers. Responsibilities include hiring and developing Sales Engineers, owning technical wins, guiding demos and evaluations, partnering cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Enablement, and Marketing, managing team systems and tools, and using performance data to improve deal execution.

Serve as a technical advisor to mid-market data teams during Hex evaluations. Own technical sales cycles from discovery and demos through trials and proofs of concept, partner with Account Executives on deal strategy, manage architecture and security reviews, create evaluation content, and relay prospect feedback to Product and Engineering. The role also involves customer presentations, relationship building, and occasional travel to customer sites and marketing events.

Build full-stack AI governance and observability features for Hex’s data platform. Responsibilities include developing React and TypeScript interfaces, backend language parsers, SQL generation, AI context systems, semantic models, agent audit tools, and workflows for governing and debugging AI-generated answers. The role requires solving front-end UX and backend scalability challenges while working with data teams and modern data warehouse technologies.

The Enterprise Sales Engineer advises data teams and executives, owns technical sales cycles, leads discovery, demos, proofs of concept, deployments, and technical reviews. They partner with Account Executives on deal strategy, communicate prospect feedback to Product and Engineering, create evaluation content, and support customer relationships through onsite visits and events. The role requires enterprise pre-sales experience, technical fluency in data science workflows, and strong customer communication skills.

Build and ship full-stack product features for Hex’s AI-powered data platform using React, TypeScript, and/or Python. Collaborate with designers, product managers, and AI engineers on agentic capabilities, data exploration, collaborative editing, debugging, performance, UX, and API design. Participate in the complete development lifecycle from ideation through launch while learning from experienced engineers.
