Leads manufacturing engineering and NPI activities for hydrogen-powered drone production. Bridges design and production by validating manufacturability, developing assembly processes, tooling, fixtures, work instructions, and documentation. Supports hands-on assembly, shop-floor troubleshooting, technician training, quality improvement, lean initiatives, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions. Collaborates cross-functionally to improve scalability, cost, safety, and production readiness while mentoring technicians and junior engineers.

Plans, executes, and analyzes ground and flight tests for prototype and pre-production uncrewed vehicles. Develops test plans, procedures, instrumentation, and verification evidence; conducts field operations; analyzes data using MATLAB or Python; updates performance, stability, and control models; and reports results, discrepancies, and recommendations. The role also supports integration testing, safety reviews, discrepancy resolution, and mentoring of junior personnel.

Supports procurement and contracts activities, including purchase orders, supplier communications, quote collection, vendor onboarding, contract tracking, documentation, invoice processing, reporting, and sourcing research. Maintains accurate procurement and supplier records while collaborating with Finance, Engineering, Operations, and Legal. The intern also assists with contract reviews, procure-to-pay activities, compliance, and special projects in an aerospace manufacturing environment.

Supports aerospace engineering projects involving UAS airframes, propulsion, avionics, software, payloads, testing, production, and flight operations. Assists with design, prototype assembly, system integration, data collection, analysis, technical documentation, ground and flight testing, and engineering reviews while collaborating with manufacturing, quality, and flight operations teams.

Supports accounting and finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense reporting, reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis. The intern maintains financial records, assists with close processes and internal controls, prepares reports and presentations, and collaborates with cross-functional teams in an aerospace technology environment.

Supports recruiting, candidate communications, interview scheduling, onboarding, employee records, engagement initiatives, training, HR projects, reporting, and administrative processes. The intern prepares HR materials, maintains ATS and documentation, participates in team meetings, and handles confidential information while gaining exposure to the employee lifecycle in an aerospace technology environment.

Supports business development through market, customer, competitor, and industry research; opportunity identification; pipeline and database maintenance; customer and competitive profiling; briefing materials; meeting and trade show preparation; and cross-functional growth initiatives. The intern will assist with government, commercial, and international opportunity research while maintaining accurate records and confidentiality. The role requires strong communication, organization, analytical ability, Microsoft Office proficiency, and interest in aerospace or emerging technologies.

Leads the design, development, integration, verification, and flight-test delivery of machine learning and autonomy capabilities for uncrewed aircraft. Responsibilities include perception, tracking, sensor fusion, planning, mission execution, model deployment, real-time C++ and Python software, simulation, testing, troubleshooting, and cross-functional system integration. Provides technical leadership and mentorship without direct personnel management. Requires on-site aircraft integration and field-test support in Bingen, Washington.

Supports architecture, requirements definition, system modeling, trade studies, integration, verification, validation, and flight testing for hydrogen-powered UAS platforms. The role collaborates across engineering, product, and business development teams; performs risk, hazard, and failure analysis; supports airworthiness and cybersecurity compliance; develops requirements processes; participates in technical reviews; and mentors junior engineers. Periodic travel to customer, testing, demonstration, and field locations is required.

Leads manufacturing engineering and new product introduction activities, bridging design and production. Develops and optimizes assembly processes, tooling, fixtures, work instructions, and documentation; supports hands-on builds, troubleshooting, training, quality improvement, and shop-floor production. Applies DFM, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, PFMEA, and root-cause analysis while collaborating cross-functionally to improve manufacturability, efficiency, safety, traceability, and scalability.

Leads end-to-end government and commercial proposal development, including RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, BAAs, and OTAs. Coordinates Business Development, Capture, Engineering, Contracts, Finance, and Program Management; owns schedules, compliance matrices, proposal content, color team reviews, production, and submission. Manages OTA-specific requirements, templates, repositories, executive reporting, lessons learned, and process improvements. Requires occasional travel and extended hours during proposal deadlines.

Lead mechanical design, structural analysis, and system integration for UAV airframes and payloads across prototype and production. Drive validation testing, manufacturability, tooling, and cross-functional alignment. Mentor junior engineers, provide technical direction in reviews, and improve processes to ensure performance, reliability, and production readiness.

Lead business development for Intelligence Community, DoD intelligence, USCG, and State Department customers. Build pipeline, convert pilots/demos into programs of record, shape requirements, pursue contract vehicles, and coordinate capture, proposal, and cross-functional product feedback. Maintain IC and federal security customer relationships and provide forecasting and BD strategy.

Lead design, analysis, testing, and integration of airframe structures and subsystems for unmanned aerial platforms. Drive manufacturability, validation strategies, prototype-to-production transitions, technical leadership, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration to resolve complex mechanical engineering challenges.
