The Systems Engineer for EMI will manage the end-to-end EMI/EMC engineering lifecycle for airborne platforms, ensuring compliance and performance in challenging electromagnetic environments.

Manage procurement workstreams across development and customer projects, coordinating engineering, production, suppliers, and supply chain teams. Advise product, engineering, and commercial teams on GDPR, the AI Act, privacy-by-design, data governance, international transfers, and AI development. Draft and negotiate data processing and privacy agreements, manage data subject requests and supervisory authority interactions, deliver training, and support due diligence for M&A, procurement, and market expansion.

Manage and optimize inbound and outbound shipping, domestic and international transportation, freight providers, customs documentation, dangerous goods shipments, delivery KPIs, and freight costs. The role coordinates with production, export control, procurement, customs, and customers while establishing logistics standards and leading team development. Expertise in international shipping, customs, foreign trade law, ADR, ERP systems, and German and English communication is required.

Lead end-to-end integration and qualification of weapon systems on military platforms, from concept through certification and service release. Coordinate suppliers and multidisciplinary engineering teams, define requirements and interface documentation, manage technical risks and schedules, establish rig, ground, and flight test strategies, and provide certification evidence. The role also serves as the technical focal point for customers, procurement authorities, and internal stakeholders while resolving subsystem interface issues.

Own the full lifecycle of a safety-critical Armament Control System spanning aircraft, ground stations, data links, hardware, software, testing, qualification, and safety release. Define architectures, requirements, supplier specifications, verification traceability, and certification evidence. Serve as the technical contact for supplier selection, statements of work, and negotiations. Coach developing engineers through design reviews, safety reasoning, and certification practices.

Own verification and validation of a safety-critical Armament Control System. Develop testing roadmaps, design and commission software- and hardware-in-the-loop test rigs, create requirement-traceable test plans, execute qualification campaigns, investigate anomalies, and automate regression testing using MATLAB/Simulink and real-time targets. Document evidence for engineering and customer review while collaborating with systems, software, hardware teams, and suppliers.

Owns low-observability testing for aircraft, including RCS and infrared measurement roadmaps, test-facility specification and commissioning, calibration, verification and validation plans, repeatable test procedures, and oversight of external laboratories. The role analyzes measurement data, ensures evidence-based acceptance, and informs aircraft design decisions. Strong expertise in RCS campaigns, antenna test facilities, high-frequency measurement equipment, systems engineering, and English and German communication is required.

Build and validate flight dynamics models for aerial platforms using first-principles analysis, numerical simulation, experimental campaigns, and flight-test data. Define model acceptance criteria, analyze telemetry and anomalies, collaborate with control, aerodynamics, and test teams, and document validation results. Models support control law design, simulation environments, and autonomy development.

Design and deliver fly-by-wire flight control systems from architecture through first flight. Define system requirements, manage systems engineering lifecycle activities, develop certification evidence against ARP4754, ARP4761, DO-178C, and DO-254, coordinate avionics hardware and software integration, resolve technical risks, and communicate progress and trade-offs to engineering and program leadership.

Execute ground-side testing for firmware, hardware, launch systems, data links, and control stations before flight integration. Build and maintain HIL/SIL and Iron Bird environments, perform communication protocol, vibration, thermal, and EMI testing, and diagnose hardware failures using laboratory instruments. Develop regression and failure-case libraries, validate mechanical launch systems, and document results through de-risking reports and JIRA testing records. The role supports airworthiness, safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance in a defense aerospace environment.

As a Mechanical Designer, you will design mechanical parts for drone products, ensuring compliance with regulations and conducting prototype tests and validations.

Own end-to-end procurement for production and prototype hardware, including purchase orders, expediting, supplier qualification, negotiation, compliance, shortage resolution, and risk management. Build the U.S. supplier base, establish purchasing processes and data standards, support NPI and BOM/ECO workflows, coordinate with production and logistics, and develop supply chain capability as the company scales.

Design and implement manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, test stands, workstations, and production equipment for a greenfield facility. Lead capital equipment procurement, factory startup, production ramp, MES implementation, process validation, and troubleshooting. Manage workstream timelines and budgets while collaborating with Supply Chain, Quality, and Production. Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives and document scalable manufacturing practices.

Lead quality engineering for a greenfield manufacturing facility, developing PFMEAs, control plans, inspection processes, CAPA systems, supplier quality programs, and MES quality data workflows. Support AS9100 certification, production startup, troubleshooting, audits, and continuous improvement while partnering with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, suppliers, and Production.

Owns day-to-day onboarding, leadership, and learning programme delivery. Responsibilities include facilitating in-person onboarding in Munich, coordinating cohorts and stakeholders, supporting new joiners and managers, maintaining Confluence or Notion knowledge bases, creating learning materials, analysing feedback and engagement data, and improving self-service learning resources. The role requires fluent German and English, strong facilitation and coordination skills, and regular in-person work in Munich with travel to European hubs as needed.

Lead global workplace capacity and space planning across multiple offices.
