Develop, test, and maintain embedded flight software for a safety-critical regional hybrid-electric aircraft. Lead design, integration, testing, and certification of hybrid propulsion power electronics (inverters, motors, HV cables, batteries). Own design, fabrication, commissioning, system-level tests, supplier collaboration, topology trade studies, and digital-twin modeling for a certifiable Electric Propulsion Unit.

Support structural analysis and development of composite and metallic aircraft components using classical methods and FEA (Nastran, Abaqus, ANSYS). Build and modify FEA models, perform static/dynamic/fatigue analyses, validate with hand calculations and testing, collaborate on sizing and weight optimization, investigate structural issues, and document results.

Design and own PCBA lifecycle for flight-critical mixed-signal and power-conversion systems, perform SI/PI and EMC/thermal analyses to meet aerospace standards, lead bring-up and validation, write test scripts, coordinate with software and mechanical teams, and drive process improvements.

Lead design, integration, testing, and certification of turbomachinery and hybrid powertrain components for a regional hybrid-electric aircraft. Own design, fabrication, and system-level testing (engine and propeller test stands), collaborate with suppliers, and model the gas turbine in a high-fidelity digital twin to optimize mission performance.

Design, implement, test, and maintain safety-critical embedded flight software. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to build controllers, simulation tools, CI/CD pipelines, and test infrastructures. Mentor junior engineers and apply functional safety processes to support aircraft certification and deployment.

Lead mechanical and electrical integration of propulsion, battery, avionics, and structural subsystems. Define interfaces, build sequences, and assembly processes. Lead development and optimization of scalable manufacturing processes, tooling, and prototype-to-production builds for the ES-30 aircraft. Collaborate with technicians, design, quality, and suppliers to implement DFM/DFA feedback, in-line quality checks, SOPs, and continuous improvement to achieve production rates and regulatory compliance.

Lead system-level design, integration, debugging, and certification of distributed flight systems for a hybrid-electric regional aircraft. Support prototype bring-up, HIL and integration test benches, create integration plans, and contribute to software verification/validation aligned with DO-178C. Collaborate across flight science, software, electrical, mechanical, and safety teams.

Lead commercialization of Heart Aerospace's flight control actuator technology: define market, build go-to-market strategy, engage OEMs and partners, secure early NRE and production programs, translate technical performance into customer materials, and scale a component business into higher-value systems.

Design and develop mechanical battery systems (cells, modules, housings, HV distribution, full packs) for aerospace applications. Lead structural, thermal and safety analyses, produce GD&T drawings, DFMEAs and DVP&R, define validation test plans, ensure certification compliance, support DFM/DFA for production, manage schedules, and mentor junior engineers.

Machine large aluminum structural parts and other alloys, develop Fusion CAM programs, design fixtures, perform full setups and first-article inspections using Renishaw probing, support manual machining, and establish shop best practices, safety, and lean workflows.
