Full-charge bookkeeper responsible for A/P, A/R, payroll, daily accounting tasks, ledger and bank reconciliations, journal entries, trial balance, financial statements, budgeting, month-end close, fund accounting for grant- and county-funded programs, implementing financial controls, and producing financial reports while supporting program staff.

Lead and manage all academic, staffing, training, and operational aspects of a Montessori preschool. Oversee educational programming, ensure regulatory compliance (DCF/Dept. of Education credentials), mentor teachers, monitor lesson plans and child outcomes, support enrollment, growth, marketing, and collaborate with the CEO on program development and expansion.
