Designs and develops mechanical components and assemblies for prototype and production aerospace products, from concept through manufacturing release. Responsibilities include 3D modeling, technical documentation, design reviews, HALT testing, tooling support, engineering changes, end-of-life updates, and collaboration with electrical, software, suppliers, and manufacturing partners. The role emphasizes manufacturability, assembly, reliability, and cost optimization.

Develop and maintain aerospace quality systems aligned with AS9100 and ISO 9001. Lead audits, corrective and preventive actions, root-cause investigations, calibration programs, supplier quality activities, material review boards, and FAA certification documentation. Create quality plans and inspection criteria, support regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Architect, develop, debug, and sustain embedded software for aviation cabin systems, including a Yocto-based video encoder/decoder platform. Responsibilities include HDCP-protected IP video streaming, FPGA and ARM SoC integration, device drivers, networking interfaces, hardware/software root-cause analysis, certification-aligned verification, lifecycle maintenance, release planning, and mentoring junior engineers.

Support quality activities for avionics cabin-management electronics across design, supplier build, and field support. Own NCR/CAPA processes, perform FAI per AS9102, analyze returns/failures for reliability insights, maintain QMS records, support supplier quality, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement aligned with AS9100 and airborne systems standards.

Support design, integration, testing, and field support of business-jet audio/video and cabin management systems. Create system architecture and test documentation, develop Python test scripts, reproduce and troubleshoot customer issues, perform software updates, and participate in on-call support and customer site visits.

Provide frontline systems engineering support for audio/video and cabin management products in business aviation. Develop system specs, architectures, test plans, and Python test scripts; create configurations and demos; troubleshoot fielded systems; engage customers, support sales and proposals, perform root cause analysis, and participate in on-call support and industry events.

Design, implement, and verify complex FPGA-based video and audio processing systems (VHDL targeting Xilinx). Integrate high-speed interfaces (PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, HDMI), perform simulation and lab debugging, collaborate across hardware/software teams, produce design documentation, and support board bring-up and production releases.

Design and implement Verilog-based video and audio processing on Xilinx FPGAs for real-time 4K+ avionics systems. Integrate high-speed interfaces (PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, HDMI, SDI), verify and debug in lab, collaborate with hardware/software teams, integrate vendor IP, produce design documentation, and support board bring-up and timing/performance optimization.
