Conducts audits of patient files, billing records, claims, and clinical documentation to ensure Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payer, accreditation, and DMEPOS compliance. Reviews coding, modifiers, medical necessity, orders, proof of delivery, and authorizations; identifies errors, risks, denials, and reimbursement issues. Prepares audit reports, tracks corrective actions, supports external audits, educates staff, monitors regulatory changes, and contributes to quality improvement.

Manage medical billing and insurance tasks including entering charges, preparing/transmitting claims, follow-up on unpaid or denied claims, obtaining pre-authorizations and eligibility, coordinating with payers and patients, and troubleshooting accounts receivable to maximize reimbursement.
