Teams at HART (Hillsborough Area Regional Transit)

Performs account analysis, reconciliations, journal entries, fixed asset management, accounts receivable and revenue audits, monthly and annual reporting (including National Transit Database and fuel tax), and supports regional eFares financial processes. Prepares financial reports, assists with audits, and serves on project teams as assigned.

Manage procurements and contracts from solicitation through closeout for construction, services, goods and rail projects. Prepare solicitations, evaluate bids, negotiate terms, administer contracts, conduct compliance audits, perform cost/price analysis, maintain contract database, and coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors.

Lead general ledger accounting and reporting for all funds; produce and approve journal entries; prepare monthly financial statements and CAFR support; ensure GAAP/GASB compliance; assist auditors and internal audits; revise and implement accounting systems; supervise Accounts Receivable and GL accounting staff; perform special projects and financial analyses.
