Serves as a trusted HR advisor to university leaders, managers, faculty, and staff. Provides guidance on employee and labor relations, investigations, performance management, compensation, classification, organizational effectiveness, leaves, accommodations, compliance, workforce planning, and recruitment. Coaches managers through complex employee matters, supports represented employees and collective bargaining issues, and uses Workday and HR data to improve HR processes and service delivery.

Part-time Research Plot Technician measuring plant growth, physiology, and phenology; conducting data entry, biomass assessments, and leaf area analysis; and coordinating laboratory activities. The role requires field data collection experience in forestry or ecology and travel to Minnesota field sites approximately 10–15 days annually. Experience leading field teams and familiarity with Minnesota buckthorn management are preferred.

Manages a portfolio of corporate and foundation prospects, builds donor relationships, develops fundraising strategies, solicits major gifts and sponsorships, prepares proposals and gift agreements, and oversees stewardship activities. Collaborates with university leadership and Institutional Advancement departments, supports events and volunteer fundraisers, and travels to meet donors. The role focuses on securing gifts of $500,000 or more and requires occasional evening and weekend work.
