Process and manage patient referrals: verify managed care/network eligibility, obtain authorizations, fax/mail authorizations, maintain referral logs and Excel trackers, follow up on consult receipt and appointment compliance, schedule missed appointments, document communications, and serve as liaison between patients, providers, and managed care representatives.

Provide direct optometry care including eye exams, diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease, prescribing medications and corrective lenses, patient education, staff direction, charting, referrals, pre/post-op checks, and participation in quality improvement and meetings.

Provide full-cycle HR support including HRIS administration, recruitment, onboarding, benefits and COBRA processing, employee relations, FMLA administration, compliance with HIPAA/DOL/OSHA, and HR reporting. Support HR Manager, coordinate job postings and hiring events, conduct pre-employment checks, maintain personnel records, and assist with training, audits, and HR system updates.

Provide direct nursing care under RN direction, educate patients, assist providers with exams and testing, maintain records, manage patient flow and appointments, perform audits, and support clinical quality and accreditation preparation.

Provide professional nursing care in a clinic, supervise and train medical assistants, deliver patient education, administer medications/treatments, maintain records, support quality improvement and clinical initiatives.

Provide direct primary care to patients (≈95% clinical time): perform exams, procedures, prescribe medications, offer health education, refer to specialists and behavioral health, and complete required documentation while complying with HRSA, JCAHO, OSHA and HIPAA regulations.

Provide comprehensive primary care to patients including exams, procedures, prescribing, referrals, health education, charting within 24 hours, after-hours/hospital coverage, supervise mid-level providers, participate in quality improvement, and ensure regulatory compliance (HRSA, JCAHO, OSHA, HIPAA, CMS/CLIA).

Provide comprehensive pediatric care including history, exam, diagnosis, treatment, procedures, hospitalizations and referrals. Complete timely documentation, maintain certifications and licensing, participate in quality improvement, budgets, community outreach, meetings, and ensure compliance with clinical standards and grant requirements.

Manage ambulatory clinic administrative operations including patient registration, scheduling, cash collections, medical record and charge reconciliation, supply ordering, front-desk duties, insurance verification, and liaison work between physicians, staff, and patients to ensure efficient, compliant clinic operations.
