Provides product training, consults on menu ideas, tracks market trends, and helps recover or grow business in the meat and seafood segment.

Supports Credit and Accounts Receivable teams by setting up customer accounts, maintaining customer master data and credit files, verifying tax documentation, processing credit applications, monitoring sales tax certificates, distributing financial documents, and preparing collection files. The role also supports vendor information packets, internal and external customer relationships, confidential data handling, and special projects.

Build and manage relationships with food service customers, acquire new accounts, facilitate orders, and grow sales within an assigned territory. Responsibilities include managing customer accounts and receivables, executing sales cycles, developing pricing and negotiation strategies, delivering presentations and samples, conducting business reviews, and promoting specialty meat and seafood products.

Manage foodservice customer accounts: acquire new customers, manage orders and receivables, execute sales cycle, present products, develop pricing/negotiation strategies, sample products, and support growth of Halperns' branded offerings.

Lead category strategy for assigned meat and seafood categories, partnering with sales, operations, and suppliers to optimize cost, quality, availability, and profitability. Drive supplier negotiations, performance management, assortment standardization, inventory improvements, and cross-functional execution. Use market intelligence and analytics to identify growth opportunities, mitigate risk, and coach regional buyers and category managers.
