Teams at Halperns

Receives seafood and other goods from delivery trucks, verifies quantities and condition against documentation, records inventory, identifies damaged or contaminated products, processes returns, rotates cooler and freezer stock, and moves materials using warehouse equipment. Maintains receiving records and housekeeping standards while following warehouse safety requirements and working independently or as part of a team.

Selects and pulls meat and seafood products accurately and efficiently to fulfill customer orders. Works independently or as part of a team in refrigerated, frozen, and potentially hot conditions during an overnight schedule.

Weigh and accurately label beef, pork, lamb, veal, and seafood boxes and packages for stock or customer orders. Follow packing specifications and special instructions, perform quality-control inspections, identify product defects, and communicate issues to supervisors. The role requires following food and occupational safety guidelines, understanding production equipment, responding to warehouse warning signals, and working independently or as part of a team.
