Provide high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care across all ages and multiple modalities (CT, MRI, Nuclear, Ultrasound, Mammography, Diagnostic). Supervise scheduling, QA/QC, student training, and act as backup supervisor. Perform advanced and general radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures, administer contrast/radiopharmaceuticals, maintain certifications and licensure, and support protocol development and staff education.

Assist preparation and maintenance of the health system operational budget; prepare, coordinate, and distribute financial reports and analyses; maintain and audit monthly financial databases; liaise with department managers to analyze variances and resolve budgeting issues.

Process high-volume accounts payable transactions, enter and match invoices (including non-PO) in Workday, handle vendor and internal inquiries, perform general office and clerical accounting duties, file and maintain records, and support accounts receivable and payroll as needed.

Manage and resolve outstanding hospital insurance claims and denials, prepare and submit technical appeals, investigate payment discrepancies, collaborate with billing and managed care teams, maintain coding (CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10) and payer contract knowledge, and provide account-level reporting to support reimbursement and continuous improvement.

Designs, implements, and manages revenue cycle education across front-, mid-, and back-end functions. Creates eLearning and instructor-led training, ensures regulatory compliance, analyzes KPIs to target training, supports staff certification, coordinates with IT and leaders on workflow changes, and monitors training outcomes and staff progress.

Responsible for collecting, organizing and presenting financial data to support managerial decision-making. Supports annual operating and capital budgets, month-end close, AR valuation, contractual adjustments, and financial/statistical reporting. Performs financial modeling, ROI analyses for capital projects, maintains decision support/cost accounting systems (EPSi), liaises with operational managers, and leads process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency.

Provide and coordinate nursing care in a Clinical Decision Unit: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; direct and delegate to LPN/CNA/staff; initiate/verify physician orders; educate patients/families; maintain competencies, documentation, confidentiality, and safety; participate in quality improvement and staff development.

Provide high-quality CT imaging and patient care, administer contrast and radiopharmaceuticals with assessment and follow-up, operate imaging equipment and PACS, supervise students and provide backup coordination for radiology sections, and maintain required certifications and licensure.

Manage and audit provider compensation and arrangements, ensuring payments align with contracts. Perform reconciliations, support systems and analytics, evaluate provider initiatives, and document commercial reasonableness. Develop best practices to ensure regulatory compliance and cost-effective balance between provider needs, costs, and service-line strategic plans.

Provide application support for health and imaging information systems: analyze user requirements, design interfaces and databases, test applications, train users, write documentation, monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, coordinate cross-system modifications, and support image transfer (DICOM and non-DICOM).

Coordinate and monitor contract processing and sourcing activities, ensuring timely routing, renewals, amendments, and vendor communication. Support Sourcing Leads with analysis, reporting, dashboards, value analysis coordination, meeting preparation, and cross-functional collaboration with Supply Chain, Finance, and Legal.

Codes inpatient accounts (ICD-9/10) including trauma, obstetric, and psychiatric cases; ensures accuracy, specificity, and MS-DRG assignment. Reviews records, queries physicians for clarification, partners with CDI, supports quality/process improvement, and follows AHIMA ethical coding standards and HIPAA confidentiality requirements.

Provide oncology-focused clinical pharmacy services across four hospital centers: verify and monitor chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted and supportive care orders; build and maintain oncology EMR order sets and regimens; manage prior authorizations and payor alignment; ensure USP <797>/<800> compliance; educate staff and precept learners.

Act as liaison between operational stakeholders, vendors and IT to analyze and improve hospital revenue cycle systems. Perform root-cause analysis, qualify data for trend reporting, document functional requirements, participate in testing, support projects (patient access, billing, managed care), create training/documentation, and drive change management to improve revenue cycle workflows while ensuring information security and high customer service.

Manage hospital cost accounting and decision support to forecast service-line profitability. Maintain cost models, perform monthly cost allocations, verify data, lead P&L analyses, partner with department leaders, recommend cost-saving initiatives, mentor staff, and deliver ad hoc profitability analyses to support executive decision-making.

Support the professional billing lifecycle by reviewing clinical documentation for accurate ICD-10/CPT/HCPCS coding, processing and correcting claims, analyzing EOBs, managing AR follow-up, ensuring payer and regulatory compliance, and maintaining billing documentation and system entries (Epic).

Manage EMR/HIM integrity by auditing records, ensuring HIPAA/CMS compliance, improving revenue cycle workflows, leading training initiatives, coordinating with compliance and revenue departments, overseeing vendor access, and driving initiatives to capture appropriate revenue and reduce coding/billing errors.

Code ED, recurring, and ancillary accounts using ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT-4; verify charges meet OCE and NCCI edits; ensure coding accuracy, specificity, and modifiers; query physicians for documentation clarification; validate medical necessity for Medicare; use encoders/CAC/EHRs; participate in quality improvement and follow AHIMA ethical coding standards.
