Support local governments and nonprofit organizations with long-term and short-term disaster recovery projects. Advise clients on administrative and policy challenges, contribute to recovery strategies, and draft guidance regarding FEMA Public Assistance and Individual Assistance eligibility. The role involves collaboration with leadership, project management, client presentations, and limited travel or deployment as needed.

Lead complex FEMA disaster recovery projects for local government clients, serving as a Public Assistance subject matter expert. Oversee multidisciplinary teams, manage recovery efforts from disaster onset through grant closeout, develop funding and recovery strategies, address policy questions, and ensure high-quality deliverables, stakeholder visibility, and effective project management practices.

Provides consultative support for emergency management recovery projects, including FEMA Public Assistance and Individual Assistance policy expertise. Facilitates client meetings, tracks project milestones and assignments, prepares status reports, maintains operational documentation, and coordinates with stakeholders to support recovery initiatives. The role requires critical thinking, collaboration, project management experience, and advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.

Provides emergency management consulting and operational support during incident responses. Responsibilities include developing SITREPs, operational work plans, and incident action plans; coordinating with partner agencies, leadership, and Emergency Support Functions; translating incident strategies into tactical assignments; and supporting operations in emergency operations centers or joint field offices. Requires on-call availability, deployment within 24–72 hours, and at least 30 days on-site.

Provides hardware and software support, responds to and escalates help desk tickets, administers software, manages hardware inventory and deployment, and assists with infrastructure consolidation, cybersecurity, and device management. The part-time hybrid role requires one onsite day weekly in Evanston, Illinois, and involves supporting office and field staff.

Leads emergency response planning and execution for clients, optimizes emergency operations center and joint field office structures, interprets federal and state regulations, oversees staffing and resources, and manages agency partnerships and client communications. This on-call role requires deployment within 24–72 hours, onsite service for at least 30 days, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts during emergency activations.

Supports emergency response missions by developing Incident Action Plan documents, conducting needs and situational assessments, forecasting resources, coordinating with government and nonprofit partners, implementing NIMS/ICS-compliant procedures, and resolving operational issues within emergency operations centers or joint field offices. Requires on-call availability, deployment within 24–72 hours, 30-day on-site assignments, and 12-hour shifts as needed.

Supports the planning and delivery of grants management offices and technical assistance programs. Responsibilities include coordinating grant lifecycle assistance, developing grants management tools and training materials, researching grant requirements, tracking program outcomes, monitoring compliance, and engaging government, nonprofit, Tribal, and small business stakeholders. The role is primarily remote but requires monthly client site visits across Wyoming.
