Perform admissions documentation, nursing assessments, medication administration and monitoring (including detox protocols), coordinate with physicians/psychiatrists, educate patients, participate in treatment planning and team meetings, maintain licensure and required trainings, and follow confidentiality and regulatory standards.

Manage utilization review processes including preauthorization, concurrent and retrospective reviews, denials/appeals, documentation in billing/UR systems, communication with clinical and administrative staff, reporting, PHI protection, and participation in compliance and performance activities.
