Leads accounting operations, financial close, reporting, internal controls, cash management, payroll accounting, grant compliance, audits, and financial procedures. Oversees accounts payable and receivable, subrecipient and delegate agency support, reconciliations, federal grant requirements, and financial reporting. Supervises and develops accounting staff while providing technical guidance, supporting special projects, and ensuring compliance with GAAP, Uniform Guidance, and organizational policies.

Supports procurement operations by reviewing purchase requisitions, funding, approvals, bid thresholds, vendor selections, and encumbrances. Searches for vendors, evaluates performance, maintains vendor relationships, resolves purchasing issues, and identifies cost savings. Assists with RFP preparation, vendor debarment checks in SAMS, procurement reporting, source-data maintenance, and compliance with Uniform Guidance and federal regulations. Coordinates purchasing needs with the Finance Department.

Provides administrative support to the Center Director by scheduling appointments, preparing reports, maintaining records, delivering customer service, collaborating on process improvements, and maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
