Advise first-line operations, product, sales, and marketing teams on UK financial-services compliance. Translate regulations into product requirements, customer journeys, terms, fair value assessments, procedures, and controls. Support product launches and lifecycle reviews, assess financial promotions and partners, manage regulatory change, investigate compliance issues, monitor customer outcomes, and collaborate with second-line risk and compliance teams.

Build and manage Griffin’s first-line operational controls program. Conduct QA/QC reviews, sample-based control testing, identify risks and process gaps, coordinate remediation, own RCSA and attestation activities, develop testing frameworks and checklists, produce management reporting, and support audit, compliance, risk, and regulatory reviews.

Own and deliver independent assurance reviews, control testing, and thematic financial crime reviews within a regulated UK bank. Manage financial crime assurance priorities with the MLRO, coordinate combined assurance activities, validate remediation evidence, maintain the actions tracker, prepare robust workpapers and reports, and contribute to governance committees. The role will also help develop assurance methodologies, templates, and tooling as the function expands.

Manage and architect cloud and self-hosted infrastructure for a regulated bank. Responsibilities include operating FoundationDB and Kubernetes, building infrastructure as code, maintaining Bazel and CI/CD systems, improving reliability through multi-region failover and chaos engineering, managing security access and observability, optimizing cloud costs, and supporting hybrid-cloud infrastructure. The role requires strong systems, networking, cloud, programming, and production reliability experience in a high-autonomy startup environment.

Owns daily and monthly treasury reporting, cash management, liquidity monitoring, dealing activities, settlements, credit analysis, and treasury mandates. The role supports the Treasurer, manages liquidity and capital risk reporting, monitors depositor behavior, contributes to investment strategy, and helps deliver strategic banking projects. It also requires improving treasury processes, producing clear documentation, and maintaining regulatory readiness within a remote-first growth-stage bank.
