Own security and compliance governance across engineering, translating standards into practical controls and production code. Manage ISO 27001, SWIFT, FPS, SOC 2 and audit activities; maintain risks, controls, evidence, and remediation. Improve release management, incident reviews, backup and restore testing, disaster recovery, operational resilience, and third-party governance. Automate control checks and evidence collection while partnering with engineering, auditors, risk teams, and leadership.

Build and manage Griffin’s first-line operational controls program. Conduct QA/QC reviews, sample-based control testing, identify risks and process gaps, coordinate remediation, own RCSA and attestation activities, develop testing frameworks and checklists, produce management reporting, and support audit, compliance, risk, and regulatory reviews.

Manage and architect cloud and self-hosted infrastructure for a regulated bank. Responsibilities include operating FoundationDB and Kubernetes, building infrastructure as code, maintaining Bazel and CI/CD systems, improving reliability through multi-region failover and chaos engineering, managing security access and observability, optimizing cloud costs, and supporting hybrid-cloud infrastructure. The role requires strong systems, networking, cloud, programming, and production reliability experience in a high-autonomy startup environment.
