The Power Systems Mechanical Engineer will design mechanical components for power distribution systems, perform thermal analysis, create 3D models, and ensure adherence to mechanical standards while collaborating with electrical engineers.

The Mechanical Engineer will lead product design, manage engineering activities, ensure adherence to standards, troubleshoot issues, and maintain customer relations.

Lead projects from inception to closure: define scope, create and maintain schedules, manage budgets, coordinate internal teams, produce weekly status reports, and act as the client-facing representative to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Design, develop, test, and commission automated control systems including PLCs, drives, motion control, HMI/SCADA. Troubleshoot, document, interface with customers, review drawings, and train end users. Travel to customer sites for testing and commissioning and support hybrid onsite/remote work.

Design, document, and maintain electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and BOMs. Specify components, ensure UL/NEC compliance, create AutoCAD Electrical libraries/blocks, and collaborate with engineers, purchasing, and vendors to support manufacturing and project delivery.

The Logistics Coordinator oversees shipping and receiving processes for control panel manufacturing, ensuring accuracy and timely shipments while maintaining inventory records and collaborating with teams.

Develop and maintain software for AGVs and AMRs, focusing on navigation, control algorithms, integration with industrial systems, and fleet management.

Design and optimize low-voltage power distribution systems including switchgear, switchboards, panelboards and MCCs. Create schematics, drawings, BOMs and submittals; specify components; implement protection and control schemes; collaborate with mechanical teams; perform factory inspections; prepare technical documentation; support renewable integration and microgrid projects.

Drive regional sales for automation and controls products: manage quoting end-to-end, analyze markets, build client relationships, develop product enhancements, execute sales and marketing plans, negotiate contracts, provide training and support, monitor performance, ensure compliance, and represent the company at industry events. Domestic travel ~30-40%; international travel as required.
