Repairs, maintains, and services electrical equipment, machinery, and installations. Performs fault finding, repairs, equipment maintenance, medium-voltage switching, electrical testing, and lockout/tagout procedures. Ensures compliance with SANS electrical regulations and participates in safety audits, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.

Provides administrative and coordination support to the SHEQ function by maintaining documentation, records, reports, compliance activities, and quality management system records. Supports adherence to company policies, ISO 9001:2015, health and safety legislation, hazard reporting, accident investigations, and SHEQ procedures. The role requires knowledge of electrical hazards, first aid, relevant legislation, Microsoft Office tools, and organizational safety practices.

Designs, develops, tests, commissions, and maintains low-voltage electrical, control, instrumentation, and automation systems. Researches system requirements, creates and interprets engineering and control-panel drawings, configures PLC, HMI, and SCADA solutions, and supports industrial networking, drives, generators, and telemetry systems. Reviews outsourced work and ensures effective system implementation and commissioning.
