Leads the rehabilitation program in a long-term care facility, coordinating staffing, patient care, compliance, billing, productivity, and departmental performance. Provides direct care within a licensed PT, OT, or SLP discipline while hiring, training, evaluating, and developing therapy staff. Oversees documentation, equipment, revenue, expenses, and facility procedures, and supports quality improvement and marketing initiatives.

Provide leadership and hands-on nursing care for residents: supervise nurse aides, administer medications, implement care plans, perform treatments, transcribe physician orders, document assessments, conduct shift communication, educate staff, maintain safety and infection-control standards, and coordinate staffing coverage.
