Field-based outside sales representative responsible for prospecting, developing new business, presenting waste and recycling solutions, negotiating agreements, closing sales, and managing customer relationships across the Jackson/Battle Creek territory. The role includes territory and pipeline management, account expansion, customer issue resolution, networking, and collaboration with operations and service teams. Extensive travel throughout the territory and weekly meetings in East Lansing are required.

Provides Tier 1 customer support for payment inquiries, account questions, web portal troubleshooting, ACH failures, address verification, invoice rejections, and 30-day collections calls. Directs escalated calls, completes project work, and develops knowledge of company services. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, two years of customer service experience, Microsoft Office and 365 proficiency, and successful completion of physical and drug screenings.

Welcomes visitors, coordinates meetings, processes mail and shipments, manages postage equipment and office supplies, responds to inquiries, supports administrative tasks, and coordinates with facilities, IT, and vendors. The role also provides backup reception coverage and regularly drives between two office locations using a company vehicle.
