Patrols and secures premises, monitors surveillance and alarm systems, responds to incidents, provides first aid, completes reports, enforces security regulations, liaises with management/dispatch, and maintains required Texas security licenses.

Handle sales transactions, verify inventory and cash, provide friendly customer service, balance cash at shift end, follow financial procedures, work evenings/weekends, and perform assigned duties.

Provide on-site security by patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance, enforcing rules, responding to incidents, rendering first aid, completing reports, and maintaining communication with management and dispatch. Maintain required Texas security licenses, uniforms, and training while supporting emergency preparedness and safety procedures.

Support racing safety initiatives and assist the Safety Director with compliance, documentation, inspections, HISA registration, database uploads, meeting minutes, event support, and administrative tasks using Microsoft Office and track-specific software.

Oversee gate operations and ensure fair, safe race starts. Supervise assistant starters, manage gate schooling, record gate-behavior notes in InCompass, coordinate with veterinarians, trainers, jockeys, and implement safety protocols.

Assist the Head Starter with loading and schooling Thoroughbred racehorses into the starting gate, maintain gate equipment and logs, report issues, and enforce safety and licensing requirements. Perform morning training, handle difficult horses, set stall numbers, and carry out tasks assigned by the Head Starter.

Answer incoming reservation calls, confirm seating details, enter customer and reservation data into the McKinney system, generate reports for auditors, coordinate with other departments, and maintain accuracy and nightly reconciliations. Requires reliable attendance and occasional evenings, weekends, or overtime.

Times and records morning workouts, supervises clocking staff, maintains horse identification records, inputs workout data, generates and distributes reports, coordinates first-time starters and workout rules, notifies emergency personnel for accidents, assists racing office and transmits disputes to stewards. Must follow racing regulations and maintain professional customer service.

Inspect horses' shoes in the paddock, ensure compliance with rules and policies, correct or re-seat moved shoes under trainer direction, maintain professional appearance and customer service, and perform other assigned duties.

Organize, clean, and maintain racing silks and saddle towels; rack and label silks by race and rider; ensure correct silks for each owner and race; maintain delivery records and input silks descriptions into the computer; clean silks room and perform related duties. Requires TX Racing Commission license, background check, computer proficiency, and ability to work varied hours and lift items.

Supervise and train mutuel clerks, enforce policies, handle taxable wagers and cash, resolve customer complaints, schedule staff, summon security when needed, complete reports, and maintain regulatory licensing and attendance requirements.

Supervises all paddock and racetrack activities during training and race events: manages entries, equipment checks, saddling, jockey call times, schedules, and coordination with starters, clockers, and the racing secretary. Enforces Rules of Racing, maintains records, assists with the draw, handles phone entries, and ensures safety and customer service standards. Requires regulatory licensing and substantial related experience.

Determine and record official order of finish for each race, operate tote board and photo-finish system, input registrations and race data into computer, notify stewards and mutuels, communicate results to Equibase and other parties, and perform related clerical and customer-service duties.

Record and document daily horse workout times, enter and distribute timing data, hand-time as backup, coordinate workout rules and first-time starters, notify emergency responders and track staff when incidents occur, and maintain required Texas Racing Commission licensing.

Verify horse identity before races by inspecting registration documents, tattoos/brands, sex, color and markings; supervise identification procedures; maintain registration certificates; report ID issues to stewards; ensure compliance with TXRC rules and promote professional customer service.

Supervise and train Club Remington Representatives; manage schedules, performance, and guest service. Maintain and troubleshoot club equipment (computers, printers, AV, player tracking). Ensure regulatory compliance, resolve guest issues, coordinate promotions and events, and perform other duties as assigned.

Ensure fair race starts by maintaining and testing the starting gate, assisting with loading and schooling horses, communicating via radio with race officials, maintaining starter gate truck/equipment, setting stall numbers, and supporting the Starter during race days and training.
