Teams at Glenview Park District

Leads all programs and special events at a community ice center, overseeing staff, budgets, scheduling, contractor agreements, customer experience, revenue growth, and operational improvement. Supervises figure skating, hockey, and customer experience leaders while identifying new programming and revenue opportunities. Requires frequent evening and weekend work based on facility needs.

Coordinates birthday parties and private pool rentals from inquiry and booking through event execution. Communicates with families and contractors, books rooms, schedules staff, processes additional payments, oversees weekend events, coordinates themed-party materials, and ensures rooms are cleaned and schedules are confirmed. Provides responsive customer service and assists patrons with online booking and household account creation.

Host youth birthday parties at Wagner Farm by greeting guests, setting up and cleaning rooms, leading crafts and tours, and supporting other party activities. The role requires enthusiasm, strong customer service and communication skills, leadership, and comfort working with children in a fast-paced environment. This is a year-round, part-time position with variable hours, primarily on weekends and some evenings.
