Manages the full grant administration lifecycle, including researching opportunities, coordinating proposals, overseeing awards, preparing reports, monitoring compliance, maintaining audit-ready records, and coordinating financial closeout. The role collaborates across leadership, finance, programs, membership, and external funders; tracks deadlines and deliverables; maintains grant systems; improves procedures; and reports grant activity and compliance to executive leadership and the Board.

The Chief Operating Officer leads statewide mission delivery and operational functions, including membership, volunteer support, programs, retail, properties, camps, technology, data, communications, risk, and compliance. The COO translates strategy into operating plans, budgets, performance measures, and accountable cross-functional processes. Responsibilities include executive leadership, financial oversight, continuous improvement, safety and compliance, vendor management, data-informed decision-making, team development, and community representation.
