Gesa Credit Union Benefits Overview

Administers health, welfare, retirement, life insurance, and compensation programs. Manages enrollments, terminations, qualifying life events, benefit inquiries, records, renewals, broker relationships, compensation data, job evaluations, salary structures, HRIS updates, orientations, reporting, compliance, and employee training. Maintains confidentiality, supports HR process improvements, and provides backup across HR functions.

Handles member and internal inquiries, account administration, ACH processing, cash letter files, general ledger transactions, audits, reports, document retention, and exception research. Ensures accurate and timely processing while meeting service-level agreements, protecting sensitive information, complying with BSA requirements, and identifying process improvements. Provides professional member service and collaborates with leadership and internal departments.

Performs general ledger and subsidiary account reconciliation, journal entries, accounts payable, financial reporting, month-end and quarter-end close activities, budgeting, wire transfer administration, and vendor financial due diligence. The role researches discrepancies, maintains accounting records, supports regulatory compliance and investment processes, coordinates with departments, and provides accounting assistance across the credit union.
