The Information Scientist will manage and extract value from global information sources, automate data workflows, apply analytical and GenAI methods, and support operational mission decision-making. The role requires library science expertise, data and information management experience, agile delivery, and the ability to develop pilots, prototypes, and minimum viable products. Desired experience includes working with dirty data, R&D environments, and high operational tempos.

Performs space-based GEOINT analysis for Foundational Military Intelligence and baseline reporting. Tasks and exploits government and commercial satellite collections, applies OBP, SOM, and ABI methodologies, builds analytic models, integrates multi-source data, and collaborates with IC and DoD analysts to shape collection strategies. Delivers intelligence findings through written products and multimedia briefings to senior audiences.

Design and develop user-centered web applications that transform complex workflows and data into intuitive interfaces. Responsibilities include front-end development, user research, human-centered design, prototyping, usability testing, data visualization, exploratory navigation, dashboard design, accessibility, design systems, performance optimization, and collaboration with engineers, product leads, and mission stakeholders. The role requires translating user needs into functional solutions and presenting design trade-offs objectively.
