Provides general and psychiatric nursing care to hospitalized child, adolescent, and adult patients. Monitors health and behavior, administers prescribed treatments and psychotropic medications, supports crisis interventions, guides nonprofessional staff, reports patient changes to the charge nurse, and promotes patient safety and well-being.

Coordinates behavioral-health patient transitions from inpatient treatment to PHP/IOP services. The role advocates for step-down placements, meets with patients and guardians, manages outpatient referrals, completes follow-up and documentation, supports utilization review and discharge planning, attends treatment and daily business-development meetings, and provides front-facing service. It requires calm, tactful communication, relationship building, sales-strategy planning, and knowledge of mental-health regulations and crisis procedures.

Learn and help manage all hospital financial operations, including financial reporting, treasury, revenue cycle, reconciliations, budgeting, compliance, and departmental oversight. The role supports the CEO as a strategic financial partner, trains managers, monitors healthcare financial trends, and ensures accurate collections, reporting, and asset management.

Coordinate with insurers and managed care for initial, concurrent, and retrospective authorization and review of inpatient, partial, and intensive outpatient behavioral health admissions. Obtain and monitor authorizations, proactively identify and resolve authorization issues, and help patients access benefits. Work closely with clinical and financial teams.

Prepare and serve meals to patients, staff, and guests; assist cooks with food preparation; accept deliveries and stock supplies; clean work areas; follow food safety and hygiene practices; meet physical demands and maintain confidentiality and customer service standards.
