Prepares a wide range of foods in large quantities, including meats, vegetables, soups, desserts, breads, and beverages. May supervise food service employees when the dietary service director is absent.

Provides supervised bedside care for facility residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, toileting, transfers, vital signs, specimen collection, repositioning, and monitoring intake and output. Duties include assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs and client conditions, administering or supervising medications and treatments, documenting care, maintaining safety and infection control, serving prescribed meals, and preparing nutritious food. The role also supports client dignity, comfort, recreation, rehabilitation, and facility cleanliness while reporting changes or unsafe conditions to supervisors.

Provides direct care and support to clients in a healthcare facility, including activities of daily living, vital-sign monitoring, medication and treatment assistance, infection control, documentation, safety checks, meal preparation, prescribed diet supervision, and client comfort. Maintains clean environments, observes changes in client condition, supports rehabilitation activities, and follows facility policies, service plans, universal precautions, and applicable regulations. Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working with clients who may have mental illness.

Provide on-site security at facility gate: control access, greet and sign in visitors, perform hourly rounds, report incidents to Nurse's Station, assist with redirecting residents (including argumentative/combative when directed), complete alarm and environmental checks, and perform exterior maintenance tasks (trash pickup, seasonal snow/ice removal, cigarette area duties).
