Support maintenance, testing, deployment preparation, and repair of atmospheric instrumentation (AMF2). Administer and lead the Electrical Safety Program at LANL: advise staff, inspect workplaces, investigate incidents, develop corrective actions, review IWD/LOTO, create safety policies/standards, support engineers on complex electrical issues, and evaluate compliance.

Perform electrical design, analysis, and calculations for facility design, operation, and maintenance at LANL. Develop and review engineering design packages, support construction and field engineering, apply DOE/NNSA codes and standards, produce construction documents, and collaborate across disciplines using CAD/markup tools.

Design and draft electrical deliverables (one-line, wiring, lighting/power, I&C, conduit/cable, fire alarm/communications) in Bentley MicroStation. Support low/medium voltage power distribution and industrial control systems, prepare data sheets/specs, perform field walkdowns (including radiological areas), and support construction/operations. Must obtain Q-clearance and work on-site in Oak Ridge, TN.

Design, analyze, and implement electrical instrumentation and control (I&C) systems for HFIR structures and components. Perform calculations, apply nuclear and electrical codes/standards, prepare specifications, manage configuration control, update material specs, and support procurement and installation of nuclear safety-related components.

Lead development of Functional Requirement Documents and Project Requirement Specifications for electrical projects; support electrical elements of building, utility, and equipment projects; create conceptual visualizations and layouts; coordinate with integrated project teams and stakeholders to capture input, review, and finalize requirements.

Provide electrical engineering support for construction and utility projects at Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory: define scope, develop specifications and cost estimates, review drawings, oversee design firms, and support construction administration and contractor coordination.

Provide Windows-based system administration, configuration, compliance, patching, and troubleshooting for laboratory and fleet automated chemistry equipment; manage GPOs, HBSS/ESS, endpoint security, documentation, SOPs, and support isolated/segmented environments while participating in deployment projects and ensuring systems readiness.

Support HFIR reactor operations by designing, upgrading, and specifying reactor structures, systems, and components. Perform engineering calculations and analyses, apply ASME/ASTM/NQA-1 codes, define acceptance criteria, support material procurement, and execute configuration control for component replacements and modifications.

Lead end-to-end proposal development for federal solicitations: planning, writing, editing, compliance matrices, schedules, color-team reviews, production, and post-award debriefs while guiding win strategies and proposal teams.

Provide project controls support for the DOE Y-12 site using Primavera P6: develop and maintain schedules, perform cost analysis and earned value measurement, produce reporting, facilitate team and customer communications, and track project management deliverables.

Lead maintenance planning and CMMS support for facility operations at LANL. Develop and review work packages, estimates, procedures, and safety/post-maintenance testing. Plan mechanical, electrical, chemical, and radiological work; resolve work restraints; maintain databases; audit performance data; improve maintenance processes; and provide training and mentorship to work control personnel.

Develop, review, and verify detailed work packages for maintenance, operations, and modifications. Prepare time/material/labor estimates, write step-by-step procedures, incorporate safety and regulatory requirements, coordinate across engineering/operations/maintenance, resolve work restraints, and support closure of completed work packages.

Model and analyze facility/utility power systems (short-circuit, coordination, arc flash, shock), extract data from drawings/field, update drawings with drafters, produce engineering study reports, recommend remediation, and print safety labels per reports.

Perform field walkdowns and validate/create P&IDs for utility systems; populate and maintain CMMS asset hierarchy; support asset tracking, labeling, inventory, FMEA, maintenance planning, and strategic asset management at ORNL.

Lead development and review of complex work packages, including estimates, step-by-step instructions, isolation/de-energization procedures, and safety/testing requirements. Manage permits, documentation, materials/labor specifications, and computerized work management. Ensure compliance with laboratory regulations, safety, and quality while coordinating multi-disciplinary planning for unique mechanical, electrical, chemical, and radiological systems.

Lead process/mechanical engineering tasks for a nuclear plutonium processing project, including construction document reviews, P&ID calculations and specifications, mechanical systems design, and coordination of multi-discipline design teams through design, construction, and startup.
