Oversee and administer the electrical safety program at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Provide technical guidance on electrical safe-work practices, support construction projects, review work and Lockout/Tagout procedures, conduct inspections and incident investigations, determine root causes and corrective actions, develop safety policies and standards, and advise engineers, scientists, managers, and field personnel on electrical hazards and compliance.

Manages technical construction projects at a nuclear laboratory, including requirements, deliverables, budgets, schedules, risks, controlled accounts, work packages, and project execution through turnover. Coordinates construction, operations, safety, radiological control, and support organizations while complying with DOE, NNSA, contract, nuclear security, classification, and NQA-1 requirements. Provides technical guidance, monitors program budgets, and supports project planning and administrative management.

Develops, reviews, and updates electrical schematics, engineering drawings, technical documentation, component and assembly drawings, and bills of materials using 2D and 3D CAD software. Translates engineering requirements into accurate technical drawings, incorporates design changes, researches technical questions, and collaborates with engineers and technical teams. Supports the design, production, testing, and delivery of naval nuclear propulsion training simulators.
