Assistant General Counsel will own commercial contracting, negotiate client and partner agreements, advise Product and Engineering on legal and regulatory issues, and support corporate, governance, employment, IP, privacy, compliance, financing, and disputes matters. Reporting to the General Counsel, this role will serve as second-in-command while building legal templates, playbooks, intake processes, contract management systems, and automation for a growing onchain financial business.

Originate, structure, and close institutional borrow relationships across collateralized lending, structured credit, and liquidity products. Build and operate a borrower pipeline, negotiate term sheets, manage KYC/onboarding, and maintain/expand an owned book. Work cross-functionally with Credit Risk, Product, Strategy, and Engineering to operationalize on-chain borrow products and produce reusable playbooks and terms guidance.

Design, implement, deploy, and operate on-chain vault strategies end-to-end: research, backtesting, execution, risk controls, integrations with protocols/chains, monitoring, and on-call production ownership.

Own APAC business development end-to-end: source, structure, negotiate, close, and activate partnerships that route deposits/mandates into Gauntlet vault products. Build and run a regional pipeline with local-hours coverage, convert warm investor introductions, navigate APAC regulatory nuance (FSA, MAS), and work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Finance.

Own end-to-end origination, structuring, negotiation, and activation of high-value Earn partnerships for Gauntlet's vault products. Source greenfield opportunities, manage pipeline and CRM hygiene, drive partner activation post-signature, collaborate with Product/Engineering/Data Science/Finance, and represent Gauntlet at industry events to hit quota.
