Teams at Fuse (f.energy)

Lead capture and proposal efforts from teaming strategy through submission for government and commercial opportunities. Write, edit, and manage technical, management, and past-performance volumes; coordinate engineering, contracts, leadership, and other stakeholders; and maintain compliance matrices, templates, content libraries, style guides, and documentation. Translate complex fusion technology into persuasive proposals, technical narratives, product documentation, and go-to-market content while managing deadlines in a fast-moving startup environment.

Build and manage Fuse’s in-house accounting function across multiple entities. Responsibilities include financial close and reporting, AP/AR, treasury, tax filings, R&D tax credits, audits, government contract accounting, internal controls, compliance, and scalable accounting systems. The role is hands-on, initially without direct reports, and requires coordinating external accounting firms while supporting the company’s growth and DoD/DOE contracts.

Lead Fuse’s government affairs strategy in Washington, translating defense and energy policy priorities into legislation, appropriations, and funded programs. Build relationships with Congress, the Pentagon, and federal agencies; represent the company before senior officials; direct lobbyists and consultants; advise founders and business leaders; anticipate policy developments; hire and develop the government affairs team; and host government facility visits.
