Assists the Operations and Finance Manager and school principal with facilities maintenance, purchasing, vendor coordination, invoices, financial records, fund collection, fundraising reconciliation, compliance, and child nutrition administration. Maintains permits, work orders, contracts, inventory, and expenditure documentation. The role also supports school programs, communicates with internal and external stakeholders, analyzes data, and occasionally works nights, weekends, and travels moderately.

Support pre-opening and ongoing campus operations, communications, enrollment, purchasing, office administration, and community outreach for a new Columbia school. Coordinate daily office functions, vendor purchases, inventory, events, enrollment tracking, hiring logistics, communications and branding, and stakeholder engagement to prepare for the 2027-2028 school opening.

Provide administrative support to the College and Career Success department including records maintenance, event coordination, communications with students/alumni/parents, data tracking/analysis, processing purchasing and payments, and assisting with alumni mentoring and summer-melt interventions to support college persistence and completion.

Serve as a mentor to first- and second-year MCC and UMKC students, providing guidance on enrollment, persistence, FAFSA/financial aid, scholarships, internships, networking, college expectations, time management, and regular check-ins to monitor progress and connect fellows to alumni resources.

Provide short-term, small-group and individual reading interventions; set goals from assessment data; develop targeted lessons and intervention schedules; monitor and record student progress; collaborate with teachers, bilingual staff, and parents; evaluate progress and may support bilingual students.
