Teams at Frontier Schools

Supports the pre-opening and ongoing operations of a new school, including office administration, purchasing, inventory, enrollment coordination, hiring logistics, communications, outreach, events, and community engagement. The role manages records, vendors, supplies, family communications, enrollment activities, staff onboarding, reports, and school-opening tasks while serving as a key contact for families, applicants, staff, and community partners.

Serve as a mentor to first- and second-year MCC and UMKC students, providing guidance on enrollment, persistence, FAFSA/financial aid, scholarships, internships, networking, college expectations, time management, and regular check-ins to monitor progress and connect fellows to alumni resources.

Provide short-term, small-group and individual reading interventions; set goals from assessment data; develop targeted lessons and intervention schedules; monitor and record student progress; collaborate with teachers, bilingual staff, and parents; evaluate progress and may support bilingual students.
