Provides direct and indirect care, supervision, education, and safety support for children in early childhood programs. Implements care plans, documents daily progress, maintains required child-to-staff ratios, communicates with families and staff, monitors authorized pickups, reports suspected abuse or neglect, follows licensing and organizational policies, completes required training, and assists with classroom and transportation-related duties.

Safely supervises children during morning and afternoon van transportation, assists with boarding and classroom transitions, maintains order and required transportation records, verifies children are not left on the vehicle, supports emergency response, inspects car seats, reports incidents and maintenance issues, and follows confidentiality, HIPAA, safety, and organizational procedures.

Safely supervises children during morning and afternoon van transportation, assists with boarding, classroom transfers, seating, seat belts, and authorized release. Acts as a backup spotter, checks vehicles for remaining children, maintains transportation documentation and client information, performs car seat inspections, reports incidents and maintenance issues, responds to medical emergencies, and follows confidentiality, HIPAA, safety, and compliance procedures.

The Van Rider ensures the safety of children on the bus, assists with boarding and exiting, and maintains order during transport. Responsibilities include documentation and communication with bus drivers.
