Hands-on Process Engineer responsible for improving boat manufacturing efficiency, quality, consistency, safety, and production readiness. The role analyzes production data and workflows, leads root-cause investigations, implements lean and continuous improvement initiatives, evaluates equipment and materials, develops manufacturing documentation, supports new product introduction, and trains employees on revised processes. Regular production-floor work and cross-functional collaboration are required.

Leads approximately 10 employees across CNC routing, plastic and foam processing, assembly, quality control, and staging. Owns production scheduling, workflow, quality, process improvement, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, standardized work, and employee accountability. This hands-on floor leadership role coordinates with upholstery operations to ensure timely component delivery and continuously improves efficiency, throughput, and manufacturing consistency.

The Design Engineer at Freeman Boatworks will design and develop marine vessel structures and components, focusing on performance and manufacturability while collaborating closely with production teams.

Lead and supervise CNC machining operations: manage workflow and staffing, coach and train operators, troubleshoot and run CNC setups, enforce safety and quality, drive process improvements, maintain production records and performance metrics.

The HR Generalist will oversee onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and employee support in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong organizational skills.
