The Design Engineer at Freeman Boatworks will design and develop marine vessel structures and components, focusing on performance and manufacturability while collaborating closely with production teams.

Lead and develop the quality team and oversee quality processes from incoming materials to final product release. Establish standards, inspections, KPIs, and dashboards; investigate issues, lead root-cause analysis and CAPA; audit processes; train staff; partner with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Operations; troubleshoot on the production floor and drive continuous improvement to reduce rework and improve first-pass quality.
