Leads the preschool educational program, overseeing curriculum implementation, student assessment, staff supervision, personnel evaluation, professional development, school operations, discipline, and community relations. Collaborates with families, central administrators, and school personnel to improve student outcomes and maintain a high-quality learning environment. Supports special education and English learner programs, communicates student progress, manages staff recruitment and development, and ensures compliance with preschool, health, safety, and credentialing requirements.

Provide special education instruction and manage IEPs, progress monitoring, and mandated reporting. Conduct IEP meetings, make data-driven instructional decisions, collaborate with families and agencies, direct instructional assistants, develop transition plans, adapt lessons, manage behavior, and maintain accurate special education records.

Provide one-on-one and small-group instructional support to students with learning disabilities. Implement teacher-designed lesson plans, monitor and record IEP progress and behavior, supervise students during transitions, assist with homework and interventions, communicate with teachers and specialists, complete required logs and reports, and maintain confidentiality and required clearances.

Provide one-on-one and small-group instructional support in elementary reading and basic math, assist students with disabilities and English learners, prepare materials under teacher guidance, observe and record progress, supervise activities, and support classroom management.

Lead after-school enrichment for TK-8 scholars Monday–Friday 2–6pm. Plan and run safe, engaging activities (arts, movement, STEM), supervise transitions/snack/dismissal, track attendance in Procare, support social-emotional growth, maintain classroom standards, communicate with parents and staff, and participate in meetings and trainings.

Fortune School is hiring classified substitutes for day and afterschool assignments (instructional aide, SPED aide, food service aide, behavior technician, custodian, excursion/afterschool support). Shifts vary; interviews occur in July and orientation in August before assignments start on August 17, 2026.
