Lead integration of battery management system hardware and embedded software for iron-air energy storage systems. Decompose system requirements, manage interface control documentation, and oversee HIL-based validation and integration testing. Drive DFMEA and CFMEA activities, resolve interface issues, maintain system architecture, and ensure safety and reliability from prototype through production. Mentor engineers and promote V-model and ASPICE systems engineering practices.

Leads electrical, software, and controls test planning and execution for battery systems across cell, module, and integrated multi-pack assets. Validates BMS hardware, firmware, plant software, control algorithms, communications, telemetry, and safety interlocks. Troubleshoots hardware and software anomalies using schematics, harnesses, logs, and control scripts; analyzes test data and produces reports. Manages electrical safety requirements and laboratory standards.

Leads onsite mechanical and fluidic testing for battery-system test assets, including structural loading, vibration, seismic, pressure, leak, and flow validation. Develops test plans from engineering requirements and DFMEAs, deploys instrumentation, executes tests, investigates mechanical anomalies, processes telemetry data, validates data integrity, and reports actionable findings. Enforces laboratory safety, pressure-vessel, chemical-handling, LOTO, and 5S standards.
