Flex Benefits Overview

Build and maintain backend systems, payment integrations, data pipelines, and user experiences for Flex’s partner engineering platform. Design robust, fault-tolerant services that integrate with external dependencies, using Java, Spring, AWS, REST APIs, message queues, and scalable architectures. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, design, infrastructure, sales, partners, and customer success while mentoring engineers and improving development standards.

Build and maintain dbt and Snowflake data models supporting reporting, experimentation, and machine learning use cases. Analyze consumer payment behavior, pricing, credit, and risk dynamics; design experiments; instrument product features; and create dashboards for Product, Risk, and GTM teams. Establish data quality standards, scalable data architecture, documentation, and technical direction while mentoring analysts and engineers.

Leads technical sales for Flex’s largest enterprise opportunities in new verticals, owning discovery, solution architecture, proof-of-concepts, technical validation, and close. Partners with Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Business Development to shape deal strategy, validate integrations, influence roadmaps, and build reusable sales assets. As the founding New Verticals Solutions Engineering hire, the role establishes processes, develops the hiring plan, recruits and coaches Solution Engineers, and grows into formal team leadership.
