Own day-to-day transactional accounting and monthly close activities while maintaining Canadian ASPE and sales tax compliance. Support audits, improve accounting processes through automation and AI-enabled workflows, and help scale finance systems and documentation. The role partners closely with the Controller in a rapidly growing SaaS company and requires strong knowledge of revenue recognition, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial operations.

Designs and develops scalable, distributed data systems supporting a large-scale search platform. Responsibilities include working with cloud and database infrastructure, maintaining and migrating data systems, designing software and data flows, developing tools, contributing to open source, and automating processes to maintain high-quality tested code.

Serve as the senior technical advisor for cybersecurity SaaS customers. Provide onboarding, platform configuration, threat intelligence guidance, custom reporting, integrations using APIs and webhooks, and basic scripting support. Resolve complex technical escalations with Product and Engineering, develop customer and team playbooks, educate users, and provide feedback on product improvements. Participate in customer visits and industry events while managing multiple accounts and driving successful security workflow adoption.

Work as a development intern building and testing features for Flare's cyber threat intelligence product. Contribute to application design, assess new ideas, join development meetings, and collect/process cybercrime data. Mentored internship with concrete projects to develop software engineering skills, autonomy, and decision-making.

Partner with sales to demonstrate Flare's CTI and external attack-surface platform, run end-to-end POCs, deliver threat briefings to ISACs, interpret and translate findings for technical and executive audiences, train and enable teams, collaborate with product and research, and represent Flare at events. Bilingual (English/German) and travel flexibility required.
