Provide safety leadership and technical expertise across assigned electric business units. Maintain visible field presence, verify direct controls for high-risk electrical work, lead incident and near-miss investigations, deliver training and mentoring, analyze safety data and trends, support SMS integration, and lead storm/emergency safety response. Drive closure of systemic safety gaps and collaborate with operations, union leadership, and stakeholders to improve safety performance and compliance.

Supervise and direct line and substation crews in construction, maintenance, repair, testing, and emergency restoration of electric transmission and distribution systems. Enforce safety practices, coordinate resources and interdepartmental work, train and counsel employees, and manage scheduling, equipment, and materials.

Perform construction, maintenance, and restoration of electric distribution systems. Duties include climbing poles, setting and anchoring poles, splicing/terminating cables, installing transformers, meters and streetlights, performing substation switching, operating hydraulic and lift equipment (when certified), troubleshooting outages, and providing on-the-job training to apprentices. Work is outdoors in all weather, may require extended hours, travel within assigned region, and compliance with safety, DOT, and union requirements.

Support the Supply Chain Contract Review Team by reviewing supplier contracts, amendments, SOWs, and legal documents; track contract status and approvals; maintain records; perform research, reporting, and data analysis; prepare correspondence and presentations; support audits and process-improvement projects while handling confidential information.

Serve as primary commercial legal advisor for data center and large-load customers: draft, negotiate, and manage complex commercial agreements; advise business on legal and operational risk; partner with cross-functional teams on infrastructure and economic development transactions; develop templates and playbooks; manage outside counsel; monitor regulatory and market developments; provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders.

Provide paralegal and contract administration support for utility customer agreements. Draft and maintain templates, review redlines, track contract status and milestones, coordinate approvals, prepare summaries and reports, assist attorneys with risk identification, and manage contract files and CLM processes to ensure timely execution.

Supervise crews performing construction, maintenance, repair, testing, and operation of electric transmission and distribution systems. Ensure safety compliance, direct energized line work, load transfers, fault location, and storm restoration. Coordinate equipment, schedules, interdepartmental work, and training. Coach and counsel employees, enforce work practices, and administer regional safety and absenteeism programs.

Support FirstEnergy's Ohio distribution utilities on rate recovery and regulatory compliance. Prepare multi-year rate plan schedules, assist testimony and discovery, analyze revenue requirements and cost allocation, liaise with PUCO staff, support grid modernization and tariff implementation, conduct research, provide analytical support to management, and develop regulatory strategy.

Provide legal advice and manage defense of personal injury and property damage tort actions. Handle investigations, depositions, trials, mediations, settlement negotiations, legal research, drafting, and cross-functional coordination with business units and outside counsel.

Supervise an engineering reliability team to perform reliability studies, prepare PUCO and internal reports, support capital budgeting, improve data quality, investigate power quality issues, and lead reliability projects and storm restoration efforts while coaching staff and driving continuous improvement.

Accountable for assessing and improving distribution system reliability across Ohio. Analyze outage data, recommend and budget reliability projects, prepare reports, support operations and storm response, and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

Manage full-cycle recruiting by partnering with hiring managers to define staffing needs, source and screen candidates, conduct interviews, present and negotiate offers, maintain ATS documentation, ensure compliance with employment laws, support diversity sourcing, attend recruitment events, and coach managers on behavioral interviewing.

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise integrations using webMethods. Build EAI, B2B and REST/SOAP services, collaborate with stakeholders, create and run tests, provide production support and on-call troubleshooting, and maintain technical documentation and compliance.

Provide EM&V analytical support for energy efficiency and demand response programs: manage independent evaluators, coordinate data collection and validation, review EM&V reports, assist with regulatory filings and stakeholder presentations, support contract management and forecasting, and promote best-practice EM&V policies to ensure compliance and improve program performance.

Receive, store, inventory, and issue line materials and supplies for a district storeroom. Perform clerical duties, maintain records, prepare requisitions, inspect returned materials, coordinate orders, handle petty cash and payments, take phone/radio trouble calls, and drive company vehicles as required.

Support Pennsylvania utility ratemaking and regulatory proceedings by performing revenue requirement and cost allocation analyses, preparing testimony and discovery support, advising on tariff and grid modernization matters, liaising with PUC staff, providing analytical support to management, and conducting research to develop regulatory strategies and recommendations.

Lead strategy, design, and implementation of enterprise leadership and employee development programs. Oversee L&D team, create curricula and experiential learning, set governance and metrics, partner with business leaders, and drive continuous improvement, career-pathing, and IDP initiatives to build organizational capability.
