Own pricing, valuation, risk, systematic trading, and battery spread-option models; oversee volatility, hedging, back-testing, scenario analysis, VaR, and CFaR reporting. Support structured product origination, market entry, and commercial pricing while managing market data infrastructure, ETRM implementation, model governance, and a junior quantitative professional.

Oversee electrical engineering delivery for utility-scale battery energy storage projects from pre-construction through energisation and handover. Responsibilities include technical documentation, site and tender evaluation, design coordination, grid interfaces, contractor and consultant management, health and safety risk assessment, quality oversight, SCADA and C&I coordination, testing and commissioning, and review of project schedules, risks, budgets, and O&M documentation.

Build and lead Field’s global indirect procurement function across the UK and Europe. Responsibilities include mapping spend, consolidating suppliers, standardizing procurement processes, leading tenders, negotiating software, services, facilities, and technology contracts, and managing contractual risk and compliance. The role partners extensively with HR, Finance, Legal, IT, Engineering, and Operations while delivering cost savings and supporting international growth.

Prepare management accounts, month-end journals, balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns and GL reconciliations. Improve and automate finance processes, embed AI models in workflows, support audits, analyse revenue and cost trends, and partner with commercial teams on PO management and reporting.

Lead end-to-end procurement and commercial execution for UK battery energy storage Balance of Plant and grid connection packages. Responsibilities include tender preparation, bid evaluation, cost modeling, direct NEC and FIDIC contract negotiation, contractor network development, interface risk management, market intelligence, and CapEx benchmarking. The role also requires coordination with engineering teams, BESS OEMs, contractors, grid operators, and regulatory stakeholders across UK renewable energy projects.

Lead end-to-end procurement for German BoP and EHV equipment for a growing BESS pipeline. Draft RFQs, structure tenders, negotiate VOB/B and FIDIC contracts, partner with technical teams to optimize CapEx, map German EHV market and TSO timelines, secure contractor capacity, and ensure local content/LDES compliance.

Lead end-to-end permitting and project delivery for BESS projects in Germany, owning timelines, budgets, risk registers and stakeholder engagement. Coordinate permitting, site evaluation, contracts, documentation and cross-functional teams to drive projects to ready-to-build (RTB). Prepare reports for senior management and support due diligence, procurement readiness, and regulatory compliance.

Design and produce site layout plans, planning and legal drawing packages, engineering schematics and 3D models for BESS projects from origination through construction. Review consultant and contractor designs, ensure compliance with CDM regulations, support planning applications, and implement internal data management for multi-market projects (primarily GB and Germany).

Lead regional procurement and commercial strategy for Balance of Plant and infrastructure across Europe. Manage RFQs, bid evaluations, high-value contract negotiations (FIDIC/NEC), contractor relationships, cost estimation alignment with engineering, and market intelligence to support GW-scale renewables deployment and continuous CapEx model refinement.

Manage and monitor the full permitting and authorization process for BESS projects in Italy, ensuring projects reach Ready-to-Build. Oversee documentation review, coordinate with consultants, authorities, municipalities, and utilities, secure secondary permits and RoWs, supervise pre-construction BoP specs, conduct site and geotechnical assessments, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to meet compliance and timeline objectives.

Lead management of project and infrastructure debt, surety bond and trade finance programmes, ISDA/derivative execution, insurance renewals, and day-to-day treasury operations across the group's UK and European battery storage assets. Support debt raises, hedge strategies, cash and liquidity management, treasury policy, and supervise/mentor treasury staff.

Lead design and selection of multi-GWh battery energy storage systems across Europe. Develop conceptual designs, support tenders, oversee factory acceptance and commissioning, engage suppliers, advise legal/contracts, and develop long-term battery management strategies to optimise performance and mitigate operational risks.
