Lead 2-3 greenfield battery storage (BESS) development projects through development and pre-construction. Own programmes, budgets, risk registers, and PM tools; manage planning and consenting, consultants, land agreements, design and site investigations; engage stakeholders and network operators; support construction handover and discharge pre-commencement conditions.

Prepare management accounts, month-end journals, balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns and GL reconciliations. Improve and automate finance processes, embed AI models in workflows, support audits, analyse revenue and cost trends, and partner with commercial teams on PO management and reporting.

Build and operate production data pipelines and streaming integrations ingesting market data and asset telemetry. Partner with trading and data science teams to deliver data for forecasting models. Work with stakeholders to build integrations and analytical views and improve the data platform powering GAIA across the business.

Prepare statutory accounts and financial statements under IFRS/FRS, support audits as primary auditor contact, assist tax compliance and transaction due diligence, review balance sheet reconciliations, and help improve reporting, controls and finance automation.

Manage and monitor the full permitting and authorization process for BESS projects in Italy, ensuring projects reach Ready-to-Build. Oversee documentation review, coordinate with consultants, authorities, municipalities, and utilities, secure secondary permits and RoWs, supervise pre-construction BoP specs, conduct site and geotechnical assessments, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to meet compliance and timeline objectives.

Lead management of project and infrastructure debt, surety bond and trade finance programmes, ISDA/derivative execution, insurance renewals, and day-to-day treasury operations across the group's UK and European battery storage assets. Support debt raises, hedge strategies, cash and liquidity management, treasury policy, and supervise/mentor treasury staff.

Lead regional procurement and commercial strategy for Balance of Plant and infrastructure across Europe. Manage RFQs, bid evaluations, high-value contract negotiations (FIDIC/NEC), contractor relationships, cost estimation alignment with engineering, and market intelligence to support GW-scale renewables deployment and continuous CapEx model refinement.

Lead design and selection of multi-GWh battery energy storage systems across Europe. Develop conceptual designs, support tenders, oversee factory acceptance and commissioning, engage suppliers, advise legal/contracts, and develop long-term battery management strategies to optimise performance and mitigate operational risks.

Interim Treasury Manager to cover day-to-day group treasury operations across UK and European entities: payments, cash management, short-term investments, banking relationships, surety bond and insurance administration, counterparty credit monitoring, CFaR modelling support, and assisting debt & structured finance with facility compliance and reporting for a 6-month engagement.
