Teams at Ficus

Build Ficus’s core payout infrastructure from the ground up, including beneficiary onboarding, account and payout workflows, internal tools, secure backend systems, and financial integrations. Own architecture and product decisions across frontend, backend, infrastructure, APIs, data models, security, observability, and compliance readiness. Collaborate directly with founders, customers, insurers, banks, vendors, and nontechnical stakeholders while translating ambiguous regulated-finance workflows into reliable products.

Work directly with the founders to operationalize the first carrier launch and build Ficus’s early business infrastructure. Responsibilities include coordinating insurers, banks, vendors, product, and compliance; establishing customer support operations; managing partner diligence and onboarding; evaluating operational vendors; building financial and operational models; documenting processes and controls; supporting recruiting and fundraising; and resolving emerging operational challenges for a regulated fintech product.
