Maintains roadways, bridges, signs, guardrails, vegetation, and other contracted infrastructure assets. Coordinates daily and seasonal maintenance work, equipment, materials, labor, safety procedures, contractor inspections, records, and work plans. Provides staff leadership and training, responds to emergencies, investigates complaints, patrols roads for hazards, communicates with public agencies, and occasionally operates patrol equipment or performs laboring tasks.

Leads traffic and revenue forecasting for toll road and managed lane projects. Develops advanced models, analyzes traffic and socioeconomic data, oversees data collection and quality assurance, presents findings to executives, and supports concession reporting and strategic decisions. Mentors junior staff, coordinates with cross-functional and concession teams, and contributes to research and innovation initiatives.

Supports the regional HSEQ function by administering health and safety programs, coordinating training, audits, hazard assessments, COR certification, WHMIS, emergency preparedness, and WSIB case management. The role advises managers and employees on legislative compliance, conducts safety training, monitors regulatory changes, supports incident root-cause analysis, and maintains safety documentation. It requires field work in rugged environments, PPE use, physical mobility, and effective communication across a diverse construction workforce.
